Chemical composition and pharmacological properties
1 ml of the drug contains 300 mg of paracetamol as an active ingredient.
Paracetam-AVZ is an analgesic and antipyretic drug.
Paracetamol has analgesic, antipyretic and moderate anti-inflammatory properties. It inhibits heat regulating center excitability and synthesis of prostaglandins (inflammatory mediators). After oral administration the drug rapidly absorbs and penetrates in most of organs and tissues obtaining peak concentration in 30-40 minutes. Paracetamol is metabolized in liver. It is excreted with urine. Elimination half-life is 2-4 hours.
Indications
Use as an antipyretic drug against infectious and inflammatory diseases associated with hyperthermia, as well as against various pain syndromes in pigs, calves, lambs and broiler chickens.
Contraindications
Increased individual sensitivity to the drug components (including such a medical history), frank hepatic or/and renal impairment. Use carefully in pregnant and lactating females under an attending veterinarian's control.
Administration
Once a day within 5 days: pigs, calves and lambs - individual administration with drinking water or feed, daily dose is 0.1 ml/kg of body weight (30 mg of AI / kg); poultry - group administration with drinking water, daily dose is 0.5 ml per 1 l of water. Every day prepare medical solution in volume aimed at daily consumption.
Adverse events
Adverse events and complications are not generally observed in case of administration as per this package insert.
Special warnings
Calves, pigs and poultry are allowed to be slaughtered for meat not earlier than 24 hours after the last drug administration.
Storage
Store in closed original package. Protect from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. Store separately from food and animal feeding at 5-30°С. Shelf life is 2 years from manufacturing date and 3 months after unpacking.

Paracetam-AVZ is manufactured in 100 ml glass and polymeric bottles; 1 l polymeric bottles.
