Composition and pharmacological properties.
1 g of MASTIBLOCK® gel contains dimethylsulfoxide - 100 mg and potassium iodide – 30 mg as active ingredients, and sodium carboxymethylcellulose, glycerol, castor oil, peppermint essential oil, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium thiosulfate, Green Apple R100 dye and purified water as excipients.
The combination of dimethyl sulfoxide and potassium iodide, as the components of the drug, penetrates deeply through the skin of the breast, and provides anti-inflammatory, analgesic, analgesic, antimicrobial effects, normalizes regenerative processes.
Indications
It is used for the treatment of subclinical and symptomatic (serous, catarrhal, purulent-catarrhal) mastitis in cows, goats and sheep.
Contraindications.
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Posology and method of administration
Apply to animals after milking topically twice daily with 12-hour interval, applying a thin layer to the udder skin, slightly rubbing, at a single dose of 50 g in cows and 25 g in goats and sheep. In case of inflammation of only one lobe/quarter of the udder, apply the product to the entire skin of the udder.
Treatment duration in cows with acute mastitis is 7 days, in chronic mastitis – 14 days. MASTIBLOCK® gel for monotherapy is used in cows with subclinical mastitis and acute forms of serous, catarrhal mastitis. In chronic forms of serous, catarrhal and purulent-catarrhal mastitis, complex therapy with antibacterial products for intramammary and parenteral administration is necessary in accordance with the instructions for use.

In sheep and goats, MASTIBLOCK® gel is used as monotherapy in the treatment of subclinical mastitis; in serous, catarrhal and purulent-catarrhal mastitis, complex therapy is necessary.
If necessary, repeat treatment course after 2 weeks.
Special warnings.
Animal products obtained during and after treatment with MASTIBLOCK® gel can be used without restrictions.
Storage.
Store in a closed original package, protected from direct sunlight, at 2°C to 25°C.
The shelf life of the drug stored in accordance with instructions in a closed manufacturer's package, is 3 years from the date of manufacture, in an opened package - 3 months. Do not use after the expiry date.
