Chemical composition and properties
Fitodoc repellent collar contains essential oils of citronella, lavender, eucalyptus, neem and tea tree as active ingredients.Gradually exuding from polymeric tape surface, collar components accumulate in epidermis, hair bulbs and sebaceous glands, provide repellent effect on insects and ticks parasitizing dogs and cats.
Indications
Use Fitodoc repellent collar to protect dogs and cats from fleas, sucking lice, lice, mosquitoes, ixodic and itch ticks. Wear a collar on animal, leave a space (1.0 cm) between the neck and collar, then pass a free tape end through a fixator and cut out an excess. Remain an end (1.5-2 cm). Constant Fitodoc repellent collar use provides canine and feline protection from insects (up to 3 months) and ixodic ticks (up to 5 weeks).On the first days of use ixodic ticks may attack and attach to an animal, but parasites will leave it in 1-2 days.
In case of severe insect affection, it is recommended to wash an animal with Meadow insecticidal shampoo or treat with Bars spray or drops against fleas and ticks before collar use. Also process animal's house with Bars spray as per package insert.
Adverse events
Increased individual sensitivity to collar components. Do not use in puppies and kittens under 2 months old.Stop use in case of increased individual sensitivity to collar components.
