OKVET ® ear lotion for dogs and cats

Composition and zoohygienic properties.
As part of the active ingredients, the lotion contains: water, EDTA disodium, chloroxylenol (RSMH), diethylhexyl sodium sulfosuccinate, salicylic acid, lactic acid, monosaccharide complex, murraya flower extract, meadowsweet extract, cornflower flower extract .OKVET ® ear lotion effectively eliminates earwax, unpleasant odors, and ear canal contamination.
The unique combination of active ingredients has an antiseptic effect on the skin, increases the sensitivity of microflora to antibacterial agents, prevents the development of pathogenic microflora on the skin of the auricle and ear canal, helps to gently cleanse the auricle of dead skin cells and ear secretions, and has a calming effect on the skin. After applying the product, the skin remains dry and clean.
EDTA disodium in combination with chloroxylenol (RSMX) has an antiseptic effect on the skin, increases the sensitivity of microflora to antibacterial agents, prevents the development of pathogenic microflora, and contributes to the long-term maintenance of the ear canal cleanliness.
Diethylhexyl sodium sulfosuccinate in combination with lactic and salicylic acid gently exfoliates the dead skin layer , has a cerumolytic (dissolving earwax), drying and antiseptic effect, improves tissue trophism.
The monosaccharide complex promotes active regeneration of the middle layers of the epidermis, reduces the adhesion of microorganisms on the skin of the ear, and has a calming effect on the skin.
Murraya flower extract , meadowsweet extract and cornflower flower extract have a wound-healing, soothing, softening and deodorizing effect on the skin , enhance tissue regeneration and improve metabolic processes in skin cells.
Recommendations for use.
The lotion is used for dogs, cats , puppies and kittens for hygienic treatment of the ears, as well as to remove inflammatory products from the auricle and ear canal before using medications for the treatment of otitis of various etiologies.Method of application.
Lotion in the amount of 3-5 drops is instilled into the ear of the animal , massage the base of the ear with circular movements, then use a cotton swab soaked in the lotion to clean the inner surface of the ear and the ear canal. If necessary, the treatment is repeated. Regular use of the lotion reduces the potential risk of inflammation of the outer and middle ear.For hygienic treatment of the ears, the lotion is applied 1-2 times a week as needed.
As an adjunct in the treatment of otitis media of various etiologies, the lotion is used 2-3 times a day during the course of medication. The lotion is poured into the ear, the base of the ear is massaged in a circular motion for 1-2 minutes, then the excess lotion is removed with a gauze cloth or cotton pad until the ear canal is completely cleared, if necessary, the procedure is repeated.
