Chemical composition and pharmacological properties
Ciprofloxacin (an active ingredient, 100 mg/g) is a fluroquinolone antibiotic providing broad-spectrum antibacterial effect. It is active against Echerichia coli, Salmonella spp., Shigella spp., Klebsiella spp., Enterobacter spp., Proteus mirabilis, Proteus vulgaris, Morganella morganii, Vibrio spp., Yersinia spp., Haemophilus spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Moraxella catarrhalis, Aeromonas spp., Pasteurella multocida, Plesiomonas shigelloides, Campylobacter jejuni, Brucella spp., Chlamydia trachomatis, Listeria monocytogenes, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Mycobacterium kansasii, Corynebacterium diphtheriase, Staphylococcus spp. and Streptococcus spp. Lactulose (120 mg/g) is a prebiotic (synthetic polysaccharide).
Indications
Use to treat calves and lambs or to treat and prevent pigs and poultry with respiratory, gastrointestinal and urogenital infections, arthritis, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, streptococcosis, septicemia, necrotic enteritis, peritonitis, combined and secondary infections associated with viral diseases and others, agents of which are susceptible to ciprofloxacin.
Contraindications
Do not use in laying hens, adult ruminants with developed ruminal digestion, pregnant and lactating pigs, animals with cartilage tissue development disorders and nervous system affections.
Administration
Individual administration (calves, lambs); individual or group administration (pigs, broiler chickens, turkeys and broiler parent livestock): 1 g of granules per 20 kg of body weight once a day within 3-5 days. Group administration with feed stuff: poultry - 1 kg of granules per 1 ton of feed, pigs - 0.75 kg of granules per 1 ton of feed. In case of salmonellosis, combined infections and chronic diseases, double recommended dose of the drug.
Adverse events
In case of increased individual sensitivity to fluroquinolones, feed refusal, vomiting, oedemas and motor dysfunction may be observed. In this case stop further drug administration and perform desensitizing therapy.
Waiting period
Poultry are allowed to be slaughtered for meat not earlier than 11 days after the last drug administration. This term is 14 days in calves, lambs and pigs.

Store in original package at 0-25°С. Protect from sunlight. Keep out of the reach of children and animals.
